The sixth call for proposals of the Karelia ENPI CBC Programme concentrating on sustainable exploitation of natural resources will be opened on April 2nd 2012. The call closes on August 27th.

The main objective of the call is to strengthen the sustainable use of the natural resources with cross-border cooperation. The specific objectives are to trough cross-border cooperation develop and support the sustainable use of heavy metals, land, animals and fish, maintain biodiversity and support sustainable recreational use of nature.

The call for proposals is open; the grant application with all its annexes is submitted within the deadline of the call to the Joint Managing Authority. Funding is applied using the EMOS system.

The overall indicative amount made available under this call is EUR 3 000 000. Minimum amount of the grant is EUR 50 000. No grant may exceed 90% of the total eligible costs of the action.

The applicant's package is published on April 2nd 2012.
