Altogether 24 concept notes were submitted during the first phase of the third call for proposals. The total costs of all the proposals are 14,4 million euros.

The overall objective for the call is to strengthen cross-border cooperation in forest and energy based cooperation. The specific objectives are to find innovative approaches for forest based cooperation and to promote sustainable energy solutions. The overall indicative amount made available under this call is EUR 6,8 millions.

The Selection Committee evaluates the concept notes in December and the invitations to submit the grant application are foreseen to be sent by the end of the year. The second phase of the call will be closed in March and according to the initial timetable the Monitoring Committee will confirm the project selection in June 2012.
